Bocce at the Turbomax Entertainment Center brings the spirit of tradition in a completely new and modern way. Our bocce court in Belgrade allows you to play this centuries-old game with friends, family, or colleagues. Whether you are picking up a bocce ball for the first time or are an experienced player, our court is perfectly suited for everyone. Just come and enjoy the atmosphere.
Unlike most sports that require special physical fitness or equipment, as well as relatively similar ages among competitors, bocce is a simple yet tactical and exciting game with balls (bocce) that brings together different generations.
The bocce court at Turbomax Center is ideal for both recreational play and organized tournaments among friends and/or colleagues. Whether you play one-on-one, in pairs, or in teams, each game of bocce brings a dose of fun, competition, and camaraderie.
What makes this game particularly attractive is that it doesn’t require excessive physical activity, yet offers the opportunity to compete and enjoy. All you need to know are the basic rules—the goal is for your ball (bocce) to be as close as possible to the jack (small target), and knocking out the opponent’s balls is allowed.
The boules we use are modern, high-quality, and suited for competitive and recreational conditions.
Bocce is one of the oldest ball games in the world, tracing its origins back to ancient Greece, specifically Sparta. Over time, this game was adopted by the Romans and then spread to Italy, France, Spain, and the entire Mediterranean.
For this reason, bocce still holds the greatest tradition along the Adriatic coast and in the former Yugoslav regions, where it is still upheld in many places as a game that gathers communities and different generations.
The Turbomax bocce court is fully adapted to modern standards:
Whether you’re looking for a place for relaxed bocce in Belgrade, planning to try something different with friends, or seeking a court to play bocce regularly—Turbomax Center has everything you need.
And most importantly: bocce is a game for everyone. In our space, you’ll see both newcomers holding a bocce ball for the first time and passionate connoisseurs of the game. Enjoy the casual play of bocce along with a drink from our sports bar.
The rules of bocce are not complicated. The smallest ball (jack) is thrown at the beginning of the game, and then each player tries to place their boules as close as possible to the target. Knocking out the opponent’s boules is not prohibited.
The game is played to 12 or 13 points (punts) individually, in pairs, or as teams, and the point goes to the one whose ball is closest to the jack in a given throw.
The boules at Turbomax Center are made of steel, hollow, and professionally balanced to meet all the standards of competitive bocce. The jack is a special smaller ball, usually white or red, which represents the target of each game.
Depending on the format of the game, players use two to four boules, and strategy and precision are far more important than strength. For this reason, bocce is an ideal recreational activity that does not strain but still brings excitement and motivation to be better game after game.
Bocce at our center is just one of many activities you can try in the same day. Whether you’re here for a relaxed afternoon or an evening out with friends, Turbomax offers a wealth of content for all ages and preferences:
